A word from the author…

My granddaughter, Amanda Owen, passed tragically in a horrific car accident at the age of 18. I never thought I would hear her voice again, but six weeks later, I heard her say, “Gram, I’m okay.”

From the Other Side, Amanda set me on a journey of discovery: about the afterlife, and about myself. Through my medium, Hazel, Amanda has guided me to share what I have learned through the writing of this book––she was, literally, my ghost writer.

Six years after Amanda left us, I know with certainty she was right––she is okay. That has taken some of the sorrow away. But, I still have a long way to go––the journey my granddaughter has set me on isn’t finished yet.

As one who knows this author and the tragedy that went with it, it truly has been a journey for everyone that Amanda touched and will touch.

I, for one, am looking forward to the launch of the book and will be at the signing on Saturday March 28th to get my own signed copy.

This will be the story with many twists and turns I am sure and will be one that you won’t want to put down and will have friends fighting to borrow it from you, probably before you are even gone it.

I have wanted to find a way to contact Diane when I saw the article in Brant News. I have had a lot of stuff happen to me in the last couple of years (mediumship/six sense) and have only met one other person in Brantford that has similar things to me. I hope that I will be able to speak to Diane one day about our experiences, and I plan on writing a book of my own in the future. It’s very hard to talk about to some people, and I have only told my family and close friends.

  3. If am so proud of you. I am sure your book is beautifully written and sure to help many others see things in a new wonderful way. Congratulations.Diane.

      Hi Sharon

The launching went really well and the room was full most of the time. I sold a lot of books and the photographer told me she has never been to a laughing before that so many people came to. I missed you but I understand that you were committed to the psychic fair. Hope to see you sometime.

      Love Diane lewis
