Night’s Return completed the trilogy in 2013, when Basarab returned to Brantford to collect his children and to embrace the woman he loved––Virginia. With the love story complete, author, Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour––Writer on the Run––former short story columnist for the Expositor, thought she could sit back and focus on her other writing; however, readers of the trilogy demanded more.
